DRC: Women politicians “key to promoting rights”

DRC: Women politicians “key to promoting rights”

Tick Tock.

Today is International Women’s Day. While I am proud of the achievements of women all over the world, I can’t help but think of all those still suffering from inequity, especially those whose basic human rights are not respected.
This photo is of women in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire marching in protest of the murder of seven women during last week’s peaceful demonstration against former president Laurent Gbagbo.
“trop est trop.”
too much is too much, indeed.
